Counting the numbers
For the first six months of Human Nature, I didn’t have a stat counter. For the next six months, the referrals were 98 per cent mine because I didn’t realize the importance of having links and having others refer to your site.
I know plenty of sites that get more visitors in one hour than I do in a week. That doesn’t mean they’re any good, mind you. For all I know, I could easily talk about sex and show plenty of T&A for the same outcome. But, I’m classy, and don’t lower myself to those standards (unless I’m really desperate for some attention).
Still, with the popularity of feeds, my numbers went down again in the past year. People click on the site, read what I write, and then go onto the next site. Not that I’m a stats whore, but I like to see those numbers grow larger like an accidental erection during Sunday mass.
Or, maybe I should start posting more porn online and see what happens...

It may please you to know that I am a recent convert to Human Nature. I have been following your exploits for just one month now and regret that I didn't discover it earlier. I find it an unapologetic, yet poignant account of a young man's search for his truth, as the name implies in all its glory. It is perfect as it is. If you want T&A then you know where to go. If you want to delve into something more relevant that is present in each one of us , then thank you for letting us in and viewing our human nature. Good Work!
Hmm, I'd like to know how my blog racks up? I mean I talk about sex lots, but it's also pretty heartfelt. I'm not sure the numbers are really an issue for me, I'd rather just know someone was reading.
No need to pander to the masses; keep up being your true self.
I've been a following this site for a very long time (I wanted to say more than a year but I can't be certain) and I enjoy the content. It is you being you and I see a lot of things that are similar between us although I have not even considered a relationship (or even sex) in more than 4 years. I did have a blog that I wrote (actually it was my dog's website) and I don't know that anyone read it. But I appreciated the opportunity to express something somewhere (even if it was from a dog's point of view) if not for anything else but keeping a journal of times gone by. I guess what I'm saying is to continue on, I like it.
What can I say, obviously I’m not here for the porn. I really don’t think the others that read your blog are looking for porn. There are so many sites dedicated to porn it would seem logical that your fans are here just to read what you have to say. By the way I have been following your blog from pretty nearly the beginning. And while I’m here commenting I might as well mention what keeps bouncing around in my head; you seem to still have some feelings for “Crazy”. If you truly do maybe some reconciliation is in order.
Both are great ideas!
i for one enjoy reading your blog. it's real, it's honest and you write what you want. i respect it. no need to worry. it's your blog afterall.
Forgive me but I enjoy your pic too much :) I would like see more as long as stay smart and true
